About the Opportunity.

As the Field Operations Manager your role is pivotal in executing and improving field marketing, merchandising and POG initiatives at State Level. Therefore, your role will be responsible for ensuring the Victorian team have the resources, skills and support to successfully execute and deliver on all strategies.

We are ideally looking for a purpose-driven leader that can connect with their team on a personal level in order to drive the team towards achieving shared goals.

If you have been a Team Leader, Operations Manager or similar, and are looking for a step up in your career, this role could also be for you.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the overall performance and executional standards of the State team
  • Ensure effective and efficient planning of work allocation, capacity management and developing coverage plans in order to meet KPIs
  • Manage project timelines and budgets
  • Lead the team to be insightful and improvement focused
  • Manage staff including onboarding, coaching, supervision, feedback and underperformance
  • Effectively utilise information and technology tools to identify program & retailer execution opportunities



About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or people/team management background in either Retail or Field Marketing preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel
  • Tech savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems, platforms & with data
  • Strong time and priority management skills to juggle multiple priorities
  • Solution focused with a positive attitude
  • Confidence to manage a team remotely who work across all of VIC
  • A car and valid drivers licence
