Wondering what a typical day looks like for our Pest Control Service Technicians?

Morning

• You will have your own company vehicle at home, therefore, in your company uniform, you’ll either travel to your first customer of the day or head to the depot to load your van with stock for your day's work.

On the road

• Your day will be spent visiting a number of different customers. No two days will be the same due to the variety of industries you will service.
• You will service your customers’ sites by;
• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and carrying out measures as required to eliminate pests
• Clean and remove evidence of pest behavior
• Advise customers on maintenance and hygiene of their premises
• Complete accurate Service Reports after every visit
• Whilst you don’t need to be an athlete, you will work up a sweat servicing multiple sites, so you would need to be physically fit.
• You will be responsible for your own health and safety - this means it’s your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is safe at all times and that you take care on the road.

End of day

• Unless you need to re-stock, time to go home and relax and unwind.
• At the depot, is the best time for you to debrief with your manager and discuss how your day has gone.

To be considered for the Pest Technician position you need to have;

• Valid Australian driver's license - manual license if possible!

• Interest in pest control or related industry experience
• Ability to successfully acquire a Working with Children Check

The Opportunity

As a Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Machinery will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects. This role is focused on Defence and piping projects across SA and WA.  You will work with our industrial team on a significant number of cranes, gantries and associated lifting equipment to support Defence infrastructure.  Other parts of this role will see you involved in fuel storage, mechanical piping and fuel handling facilities.  Having experience in either of these areas will be highly valuable in this role. You will perform work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex design features and unsuitability of conventional materials.

Who are you?

As a Mechanical Engineer in our Industrial team, you will have experience in detailed designs, consulting or complex engineering projects from the mining, water, industrial or infrastructure sectors.  You will work with OEMs on product selection and installation but have the ability to customise and innovate, delivering unique solutions in challenging environments.

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Hold an accredited Bachelor of mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline
• Design experience with knowledge of local industry standards and local codes.
• Proven ability to work in engineering teams and manage projects to scope, budget and program.
• You are a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or have eligibility to apply for this accreditation

What you will do:

• Ensure premium presentation and maintenance of our grounds.
• Incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities and other facilities.
• Servicing water park and pools - cleaning, dosing, water balance, repairs and maintenance.

What you will bring:

About the role:

In this role you will manage your team effectively to ensure you and the team are working together to successfully deliver a world-class customer experience, guaranteeing uninterrupted and secure operation of the facilities. Other responsibilities for this team include:

• Manage Data Centre facilities operation on a daily and on-going basis
• Mentor and impart knowledge to other staff.
• Ensure day to day customer use of the facilities is managed.
• Ensure day to day interaction with Service Providers and C is managed.
• Manage any risk associated with the Data Centres up- time through its various equipment.
• Procurement activities for CDC and clients if required Onboarding’ of clients
• Assisting in the management of maintenance contracts on behalf of CDC including programmed maintenance of all non-critical equipment
• Liaising with Service Providers when required
• Ensuring that CDC obtains necessary Certificates, approvals and other certifications required by Statutory Authorities or CDC in relation to the occupancy of the Data centre facilities.
• Contributes to the creation and management of site expense budget.
• Deliver the expense budget objectives under the individual’s direct influence.
• Contribute to the broader CDC team financial and operational objectives such that the business achieves the corporate goals set each year as well as the group’s long-term goals.
• Provide cultural and operational team leadership.
• Mentor and impart knowledge to junior staff.
