We are putting innovation to work to improve people’s lives and we want YOU to be a part of it.Job DescriptionThe RoleReporting to the Electrical Supervisor this position initially will have the opportunity to interact with various Albemarle global support groups with the ability to gain invaluable commissioning & start-up experience.Post commissioning and start up this position will provide support to both scheduled and reactive maintenance services to the plant operations and comply with the systems and procedures to facilitate continuous improvement in the utilization of assets.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring all work is performed in accordance with site EH&S, community policies, systems and procedures.Execute electrical/ instrumentation work as per schedule following work instructions as directed by the Electrical Supervisor.Responding to plant outages and equipment failures in a timely manner to maximize plant availability and safety.Ensure work is executed to the highest standard and history is recorded in the relevant maintenance recording system for future reference.Initiate creation and updates to work procedures and instructions to ensure they are accurate and effective.Reporting of incidents in a timely manner and participate in analysis and investigations as required.Build strong relationships with the Operational, Reliability and Planning Teams to support the delivery of quality maintenance and equipment availability. Working with our internal/ external customers to support feedback and continual improvement programs.Support work management processes through efficient defect reporting, adequate scoping of corrective works and accurate confirmation of execution activities.Work Experience RequirementsDemonstrated commitment to safety, continuous improvement and teamwork.Sound problem-solving skills and fault-finding experience with the ability to respond to changing priorities.Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance activities associated with industrial equipment including kilns, ball mills, belt filters, cloth filters, centrifuges and boilers.Experience fault finding and performing various maintenance activities with PLC’s, Burner Management and Control systemsExperience maintaining a variety of modern electrical, instrumentation and control equipment Working knowledge of applicable electrical regulations and standards as they apply to industryUnderstanding of Change Management and Work Management Processes.Knowledge and understanding of SAP systems is desirable.Previous commissioning experience would be highly regardedEducation / Qualification RequirementsA Grade Electrical LicenseInstrumentation Certificate IVCurrent WA Driver’s License C Class minimumCurrent WA High Risk LicenseHigh Voltage Switching Certification with demonstrated experience in operation and maintenance of High Voltage apparatus (Desirable)Supervised Gas fitter (Desirable)Hazardous Area Certificate IV (Desirable)Choose to unlock your full POTENTIAL.
