We seek a Facilities Manager with demonstrated experience managing the delivery of hard (fire services, electrical) and soft services (cleaning, food) in a GMP environment.  You will manage the planned work schedules and the ability to review & evaluate building works as well as coordinate all aspects of building maintenance and essential services via contractor management. 

Other duties will include but won’t be limited to:

• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with Service Level Agreements and OH&S guidelines
• Effective staff management, including motivation, development, performance management, recruitment

• Actively managing a P&L financial model with the objective of meeting the set financial budget
• Sound understanding of contractual agreement with client and ability interpret and amend as per business requirements
• Development of strong working relationships and maintaining a professional and ethical attitude with all employees and contacts associated with the business
• Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of food services particularly in a manufacturing or blue collar environment
• Demonstrated record of safety leadership preferably in a manufacturing environment

This role is crucial to the continued success of our Facility Maintenance team. The role will have accountability for ensuring that stakeholders understand their current performance as well as developing pathways to scale and replicate success. You will be working with the Regional Operations Leadership Team to develop and implement business initiatives, process development and process management to drive performance.

Main Duties

• Manage successful delivery of hard facilities management services as the primary role and provision of support services as required to the soft services delivery under the client project.
• Lead, develop and drive financial and service improvement initiatives based on knowledge of clients’ and consumers’ needs.
• Lead, develop and drive strategy initiatives and offers based on deep knowledge of clients’ and consumers’ needs and focused on Quality of Life to deliver sustainable profitable growth and a safe working environment.
• Drive strategic alignment and direction, optimising processes to maximise performance.
• Lead delivery of agreed asset upkeep standards, in line with client management plans.
• Drive asset maintenance improvement with underperforming teams and stakeholders.
• Develop sustainable preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance methodologies to minimise the level of unscheduled events.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with clients, ensuring alignment of our services meet the needs and long-term vision of our clients.
• Design and facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, meetings, and reviews to optimize performance and risk management.
• Lead and facilitate client discussions, ensure prompt and professional communication of all serious maintenance issues, response and progress in resolving the issue.
• Understand the contractual obligations of the clients’ contract terms to achieve 100% compliance and meet the clients’ and Sodexo Remote Site’s financial goals and expectations.
• Leverage data provided from different systems, monitor and analyse business performance, identify and implement opportunities to improve the service performance through specific interventions so that the Business, Financial and operational performance targets are met or exceeded.
• Provide interpretation, analysis and reporting of results and supporting documentation where appropriate
• Develop and drive cost saving initiatives, with specific reference to quotation and development of new works projects and develop budgets for Facilities Management operations.
• Ensure regional compliance of all statutory, legal requirements, including Local regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements.
• Drive strategic regional process compliance alignment and direction, optimising processes to maximise performance.

Reporting to the HR Director, the Facilities Manager is instrumental in ensuring that Sodexo’s Corporate support centre operates seamlessly and optimally whilst enhancing the overall experience for our employees.  With free parking onsite, our corporate office is the hub for our operational support staff. Sodexo is seeking a Community Hub Manager at our Pharmaceutical client’s site at the Barracks Place.  In this role you will lead our team of 5 receptionist/ Workplace coordinators and specialist maintenance subcontractors who are responsible for providing exemplary ‘one-stop shop’ customer service to the site’s colleagues and visitors.

Our client has created an agile Workplace Experience space that integrates Space, People and Community.  Our team effectively manages The Community Hub, which operates from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.  Community Hub manager hours Mon to Fri 38hr week.

You will manage and coordinate the team’s duties, which include but are not limited to:

• Facilitate inductions, ergonomic set up, use of touchdown areas, promote site amenities.
• Ensure the Community Hub space is fully operational and is inviting for all users.
• Asset management, preventive, reactive maintenance and contractor and vendor management
• Provide exemplary Workplace Experience support for all site attendees including but not limited to reception duties.
