Role Overview:

Security Protocols and Compliance

· Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards to meet compliance requirements.

· Monitor security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems.

Incident Response

· Detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents related to IDAM.

· Participate in incident response drills and develop incident response plans specific to identity breaches.

Collaboration & Reporting

· Work closely with IT and business teams to integrate IDAM protocols into business processes.

· Produce regular reports on IDAM status, improvements, and challenges.

Continuous Learning & Training

· Stay up-to-date with the latest in IDAM solutions, trends, and threats.

· Provide training to staff on best practices related to IDAM.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICT security, with a focus on IDAM.

· Proficient understanding of IDAM solutions and best practices.

· Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other relevant credentials.

· Experience with cloud-based IDAM solutions.

· Knowledge of multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and identity management solutions.

You will have the opportunity of working for a government organisation located in Southerland. Your new role As a Senior Technical Cyber Security Specialist, you'll be expected to drive the implementation and continual improvement of the cyber security function for the organisation. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure that cyber security initiatives meet objectives across their organisation in alignment with their Cyber Security strategy. Implementation and maintenance of security controls including the ASD Essential 8

• Collaborate with existing and future managed service provider relationships and resources in the IAM/SAP security space.
• Build, test and rollout of enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions in association with internal and external resources.
• Ability to document use cases and work with agile teams to document user case studies.
• Provide technical Engineering and vision for customers’ application platforms.
• Ability to support evaluations of vendors solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other technology teams and security organizations.
• Participate in the definition of an enterprise IAM Engineering strategy, with a roadmap of key deliverables and timelines, and deliver consistently.
