Role Overview:
The ICT Security Specialist (IDAM) will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing security strategies around identity and access management. This role is essential to ensure that the right individuals have access to the right resources at the right times for the right reasons.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement and maintain IDAM solutions and protocols.
· Monitor user access, roles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access to sensitive information.
· Ensure timely de-provisioning of user access rights when necessary.
· Regularly review and audit user access rights and privileges.
· Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards to meet compliance requirements.
· Monitor security vulnerabilities and hacking threats in network and host systems.
· Detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents related to IDAM.
· Participate in incident response drills and develop incident response plans specific to identity breaches.
· Work closely with IT and business teams to integrate IDAM protocols into business processes.
· Produce regular reports on IDAM status, improvements, and challenges.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest in IDAM solutions, trends, and threats.
· Provide training to staff on best practices related to IDAM.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICT security, with a focus on IDAM.
· Proficient understanding of IDAM solutions and best practices.
· Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other relevant credentials.
· Experience with cloud-based IDAM solutions.
· Knowledge of multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and identity management solutions.
