We are seeking a motivated Learning and Development (L&D) Advisor to join our People & Engagement team. Based in Australia or New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in implementing The Egis Way project, focusing on designing, deploying, and evaluating eLearning initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee the effective administration and maintenance of our Learning Management System (LMS).

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and People

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, manage, and update eLearning content that aligns with organisational goals.
• Oversee LMS operations, including user support, course enrolments, troubleshooting, and reporting on user engagement and compliance.
• Provide technical support, train users, and create resources to optimise LMS functionality.
• Analyse data to improve training programs and ensure compliance with mandatory learning requirements.
• Lead project deliverables, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Foster a positive learning culture while promoting safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Online Education Services (OES) is an education provider that partners with universities to provide purposefully designed and highly engaging online programs. This position will be working within OES in association with Swinburne Online. 

Swinburne Online delivers world-class learning though degrees specifically designed for the online student. Each degree is tailored to provide opportunities for students who are often unable to undertake university studies on campus. 

At Swinburne Online, the student is at the forefront of everything we do. This role is an opportunity to support and guide our students through their learning journey. Our Online Learning Advisers (OLAs) are the subject matter experts who facilitate the student’s learning, with a focus on helping them achieve their goals. 
 

What you will do 

Our OLAs are responsible for the following: 

• Providing an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team  

• Facilitating learning activities that engage and support student learning  

• Undertaking assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) as well as processing and submitting results according to set timelines  

Online Learning Advisers are not required to establish curriculum, design learning activities, schedule learning and teaching, set assessments or develop marking schemes.

Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for OLA's who can teach units in our Education (Early Childhood) Discipline

• You will hold a minimum Bachelor Degree in Education (Early Chidhood) / Masters of Education (Early Childhood) is preferred

• You will have a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience in the field of Early Childhood Education
• Experience in mentoring and placements is desired

• You are motivated by student success and passionate about online learning 

• You are a passionate and clear communicator  

• You have strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence  

• You are proactive and organised 

• You thrive in a remote working environment

Who Are We Looking For? 

We are looking for OLAs to teach units with in our Innovative Learning Design discipline. 

• You will hold a minimum of Masters level qualification in a relevant discipline eg Education
• 5+ years experience working with Education, industry or community partners in Adult learning.
• 5+ years experience in designing learning experiences that apply Andragogical and pedagogical design principles.
• Knowledge of the Australian education system or ability to acquire this in timely manner
• High level of spoken and written English.
• You are motivated by student success and passionate about online learning
• You are a passionate and clear communicator 
• You have strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence 
• You are proactive and organised
• You thrive in a remote working environment
