Qualification & Work Experience
• Relevant Diploma or above qualification
• Minimum 1 year of work experience

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously with ease.
• Creative and innovative approach to event planning and problem-solving.
• Experience with budgeting, managing timelines, and logistics.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Proficiency in event management software and Xero.
• Knowledge of Bhutanese culture and significant celebrations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job description
As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events, from conferences and conventions to major cultural celebrations.
Key duties include:
• Promote and market cultural events, including conferences, conventions, and trade shows, to potential clients, ensuring alignment with Bhutan Event House’s vision and target audience.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding available services, costs, and packages for venue hire, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other event-related needs.
• Planning and organizing Bhutanese cultural events aligned with the Bhutanese calendar, including festivals, New Year celebrations, and Tsechu events.
• Managing annual large-scale events like the Bhutanese concert featuring renowned Bhutanese singers and artists from Bhutan.
• Handling client inquiries, negotiating service packages, and ensuring events are within budget and delivered to the highest standard.
• Supervising event staff, contractors, and volunteers, ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after events.
• Organize participant registration, ensuring a smooth process for attendees and keeping track of attendance and event details.
• Managing event budgets, timelines, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of all details.
