DJHM Investments PTY LTD t/a The Pour House Bar & Kitchen is looking for experienced Cook and Bar Attendant Supervisor to join the business.
Cook:
Duties to be performed:
• Prepare meals in line with the restaurant standards
• Support the ordering of food and supplies
• Care for food supplies and leftovers appropriately
• Infusing flavours by adding seasonings
• Maintain and operate the kitchen in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner the cooking process
• Prepare meals for special events and additions functions, adjusting the dishes accordingly with the dietary needs of the customers
• Artfully plating dishes with appropriate portions, accompanied by sauces, gravies, and garnishes.
• Develop menu suggestion
• Check on store food and supplies are delivered
• Controlling the temperature of ovens, grills, and various cooking equipment
Requirements
The position requires at least 1 year of experience, attention to detail, a good attitude and will be able to work under pressure.
Bar Attendant Supervisor:
Duties to be performed:
- Greeting guests, managing the bookings and reservations;
- Working in collaboration with the other supervisors and Management team;
- Responding to customers requests and assisting them in a professional manner;
- Cleaning glasses, tables, bar areas;
- Organising and preparing orders and a mix of cocktails and/or sophisticated drinks, serving wines, and other drinks as requested;
- Being responsible of all the bar areas and equipment;
- Ensuring to respect polices and procedures in place and practicing appropriate workplace health and safety procedures at all time;
- Being responsible of the training and supervising of the food and beverage attendants of a lower grade.
The position requires at least 1 year of experience, strong work ethic, good attitude, and ability to work under pressure.
Position (Cook and Bar attendant Supervisor): Full Time (at least 38 hours per week)
Salary (Cook and Bar attendant Supervisor): $65,000 – 90,000 per year
