We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at the mine site in Gove, Nhulunbuy. In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Manager and play a crucial part in coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring that our facilities are safe, efficient, and operational.

For this role, please ensure you are either based in Nhulunbuy, Northern Teritory or willing to relocate.

Duties of the role include:
• Coordination of maintenance staff and client sub-contractors
• Coordinate, plan & schedule work as required SOW with subcontractors
• Engagement of Client approved suppliers, tradespersons and subcontractors
• Monitor, track and report on adherence to budgets, Dashboards and client expectations/KPIs
• Ensuring the facility maintains a high-level maintenance and appearance. Ensure subcontractors are stocking required assets & materials to meet works requirements
• Assess and report potential new works that may be required on site.
• Coordinate client subcontractors -Adhere to occupational health and safety and injury management regulations (as per Rio Tinto Aluminium and Sodexo Remote Sites Policy and Procedures). Complete site compliance documentation.
• Maintaining a sound understanding of contractual obligations and meet customer expectations under the agreement.
• Progressively update Maintenance Manager client delivered reports with respect to the financial, qualitative, contractual engage works with subcontractor.
• Attendance at weekly/monthly meetings with client to assess current progress and prioritise repairs
• Support Maintenance Manager at weekly Sub-Contractor review meetings of completed works & prioritize outstanding works
• Identify works and prepare scope of work for quoting.
• Review quotes and proposals and ensure value for money maintenance solutions.
• Coordinates general Services, general, reactive and preventative maintenance activities confirming safe work practices, work quality, fit for purpose, and adherence to scope.
• Complete quality & audit reviews of completed work activities to ensure works are completed in line with agreed scope.
• Engage and monitor client satisfaction around the maintenance process and execution
• Perform other administration or maintenance related duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager

Requirements:
• Previous experience in maintenance coordination, preferably in the mining or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
