What you will do:
You will primarily deliver financial accounting services to the business' stakeholders and coordinate and finalise month-end processes with priority and efficiency. Reporting to and supporting our Financial Controller, this is a hands on, transactional position, where you will be responsible for:
- Month-end accounting,
- Technical accounting standard guidance to the business,
- Fixed asset accounting and maintenance of fixed asset registers,
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations,
- Detailed financial reporting and analysis,
- Tax compliance work including tax return, BAS and FBT preparation,
- Partnering with key business stakeholders and shared services function, and
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc project tasks including automation and process improvement initiatives.
What you will bring:
Minimum 2 years' experience either in a comparable role, commercial environment or via diversified public practice experience. CA/CPA qualification essential. We welcome you to bring fresh ideas, innovation and a continued drive to connect and drive relationships.
