Key Responsibilities (as per ANZSCO): Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle engines, transmissions, suspension, and steering systems. Perform regular vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and efficiency. Replace defective parts in engines, transmissions, braking, and cooling systems. Tune engines and ensure that vehicles operate smoothly and safely. Perform complex overhauls on major vehicle systems. Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and provide recommendations for repair solutions. Maintain service records and ensure all repairs meet company standards and customer satisfaction. Requirements: Relevant TRADE qualifications. At least Certificate III/IV. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Motor Mechanic Strong knowledge of automotive systems and mechanical operations. Australian drivers’ license & ability to drive manuals. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and within a team.
