Subway Meats are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Production Manager (Manufacturing) to join their team in Wingfield SA 5013.
The manufacturing production manager oversees daily production operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and manage production schedules.
- Monitor and optimize production performance.
- Supervise and develop production staff.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Address and resolve quality issues.
- Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct safety training and audits.
- Manage inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance.
- Work with procurement for material supply.
- Maintain production records and prepare reports.
- Analyze production data for trends and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of manufacturing experience, with 3+ years in management.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software and microsoft office.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery.
- Occasional lifting of materials.
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
