The Opportunity

Due to internal movement, BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Customer Service Officer to join the Adelaide sales team based in Wingfield. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the face of BlueScope for our customers, ensuring exceptional service in each interaction. Working within a friendly and inclusive team you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries. Your can-do attitude will be on full display as you take new orders and quotations, providing product and pricing advice and manage a variety of day-to-day enquiries. You will be the key customer representative to a dedicated portfolio of valued customers accounts, maintaining our high standards of service delivery.

What Will You Do?

Based in our sales office located in Wingfield, you will:

• interact with our customers over the phone and email managing quotes and queries
• follow-up on quotations and inquiries converting these into sales opportunities
• collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
• nurture and grow relationships with customers to uncover new business and sales opportunities
• continuously look at new ways of improving the customer experience and consistently improving the total value proposition

The Opportunity

Our Distribution and Service Centre is looking for two Team Members (General Transport Operators) in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA.  As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

Our Team Members support our logistics & warehouse operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers.  Working in a dynamic team environment, you will provide collaborative approach to a range of tasks such as the loading and unloading of trucks and rail, machine operation, scheduling, load marking and a variety of work that is both rewarding and fun.

The working hours for this exciting opportunity are Monday to Friday dayshift hours with overtime eligibility.

What Will You Do?

Suggest and implement in continuous improvement ideas, identify safety issues and corrective actions and contribute to delivering our business plan activities and projects. This role will see you:

• be responsible for receiving and storing materials, picking and loading orders and other dispatch duties

A Well Test supervisor, based in Moomba SA is required for supervising the rig up and operation of Surface Well Test equipment: including detailed reporting of surface and downhole conditions to the client and SGS management.

• FIFO Position to Moomba, SA
• Permanent Full-Time Position

Some other responsibilities for this role will be:

• Supervising all personnel, equipment and services required to achieve the successful outcome of the operation as well as delegating these responsibilities as required.
• Provide technical support to customer representatives where necessary
• Interpret complex P&IDs relating to Well Test installations.
• Implement and monitor pre-project and annual maintenance programs for field equipment.
• Able to operate all equipment including the test separator correctly, confidently and independently.
• Able to oversee full package test operations including slickline/wireline services. 
• Be involved in the field crew assessment program.
• Field training of SGS Well Test personnel. Ensure high levels of performance and maintain morale which forms part of the crew assessment program.
• Review of production costs and savings, efficiency measures and report this information back to Management where possible.
• Accurate reporting of surface and down-hole test data, ensuring that all data collected is relevant and accurate.
• Coordinate operations in the field and advise the Well Services Coordinator of any changes in the work program or procedures.
