We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Social Planning Officer to join our team at the local government client in Blacktown. As a Social Planning Officer, you will be a strategic member of the team in shaping and implementing social plans, promoting community development, and ensuring the delivery of essential services and facilities to the communities of Blacktown. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation of social plans and report progress to key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Community Development Team to plan and develop community services and facilities.
Liaise with various levels of government for integrated service delivery.
Undertake social research, impact assessments, and policy reviews.
Provide professional advice to the Council on community needs and government policies.
Implement volunteer coordination if required by the role.
