Our esteemed client, Concept AV, seeks a full-time Electronic Equipment Trades Worker. Located in Balcatta, Western Australia. Concept AV offers various AV services, including system design, project management, and training programs. They also deliver creative AV solutions and go above and beyond in customer care. The Electronic Equipment Trades Worker is expected to install, maintain and repair electronic equipment and systems such as audio and visual reproduction equipment, home entertainment systems, computers and electronic security systems.
The annual salary for the job is between $75,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include:
• Inspecting and evaluating machines, equipment, instruments, and control systems to identify issues.
• Performing adjustments, repairs, and replacements of faulty components and wiring, ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
• Reassembling equipment, conducting test operations, and making necessary adjustments.
• Guiding users on proper operation to avoid malfunctions.
• Decoding and interpreting messages, converting them into clear language, and preparing them for transmission.
• Monitoring radio communication, as well as transmitting and receiving voice messages.
• Installing electronic instruments and control systems.
• Utilising expertise in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems for the commissioning and upkeep of control systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Providing clients with an extensive range of instruction on all forms of interactive audiovisual technology.
• Capable of helping clients create polished business presentations and training materials.
Qualifications:
• Must have a Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
• Has a minimum experience of two (2) years as an Electronic Equipment Trades Worker.
