What you’ll be doing  
The Team Leader is a key leadership position where you will have the opportunity to support a team to work alongside older adults whilst in the supported social activity group.  You will be part of a highly collaborative and supportive team that provides a consistent high quality Customer centric service.

As the Team Lead your duties will include:

  • Managing, training and supporting a team of staff to enable them to carry out their responsibilities and deliver a client focused service.
  • Operationalise and manage the day-to-day activities of the program.
  • Communicating effectively and maintaining positive relationships with participants, carers, relevant community organisations for coordination of participant service delivery.
  • Actively participate in and promote the program to identify activities and ensure successful Community Engagement outcomes.
  • Ensuring the centre budget is maintained and the client hours and engagement increase.

Who we’re looking for
In addition to a self-directed passion and drive to support people within the community, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position managing and leading teams.
  • Ability to relate to a broad cross-section of people who are frail, aged or others who are receiving services from EACH in a collaborative and supportive manner. 
  • Knowledge of the leisure and health needs of older people living in the community as well as their diverse physical, social, emotional and cultural needs.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, volunteers, families, clients, carers and other professionals as part of a team or sole worker. 
  • Current state-based driver’s license.
