The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel ensuring that our staff and guests are in a safe, comfortable, inviting environment. This role will create a lasting memory for every guest through commitment to promoting a positive image of the property.
Key duties include:
Linen Management, including the ordering, rotating, folding, and managing clean linen. Frequent removal of dirty linen from floors and chemical room (via linen chute) following all correct manual handling and safe work practices.
Maintaining linen storage area, cage area, bin room, chemical room, and linen storerooms to a high standard.
Ensuring room attendants trolleys are stocked with linen and assist removing dirty linen bags from trolleys regularly throughout shift.
estock linen storerooms multiple times per day.
Performing minor, non-skilled maintenance requests at the direction of management, e.g.; blocked sinks, blocked toilets, tightening
