ADVERT – CHEF at HAIG STREET KIRRA
Haig St. Kirra located in Kirra on the Gold Coast is looking for a full-time experienced Chef
to join our team! Our amazing cafe offers Breakfast and Lunch, providing our beloved patrons a relaxed dining experience with a view of the world-class Kirra beach!
This exciting opportunity will suit a candidate who is adaptable and works well within a dynamic environment.
The position requires the following:- relevant AQF Diploma (or equivalent or higher) AND
at least 3 years relevant high level work experience OR at least 4 years full time experience in a similar fast paced role as a minimum!
The role includes but is not limited to:
• planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
• monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• discussing food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and waiting staff
• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• preparing and cooking food
• explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• assisting with selecting and training staff
We offer a competitive salary, with remuneration in the range of $73,150 to $80,000 p.a.
(depending on skills, experience and qualifications) plus superannuation.
