Reporting to the Front Office Manager, we are seeking an experienced, energetic, and supportive Senior Duty Manager to lead and develop our team within the Front Office team.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this rewarding role will see you:
-Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
-Develop our Front Office stars to provide excellent, personalised guest service
- Provide support and guidance to all departments in the absence of departmental managers
- Respond to emergencies within the hotel, including acting as the Chief Fire Warden and First Aid Officer
- Work a variety of shifts including morning and evening shifts, weekends and an occasional overnight shift
- Manage Hotel operations within a fast-paced environment
- We are looking for someone who has:
- Two (2) years experience within a similar hotel management position or equivalent
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or higher
- Thorough understanding of Hotel operations
- Demonstrated confidence in conflict resolution and service recovery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively with all guests & associates
- A positive, team orientated approach with a passion for mentoring, training and coaching
- A current First Aid Certificate
- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
