Burnbank Mechanical & Ag are looking for qualified Light Vehicle and Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team. We are a busy, thriving, family run business based in the South West of Western Australia.
We have recently taken on a large earthmoving contract looking after a large fleet of equiptment, ranging from 15-40 ton diggers, D6-D10 dozers and more, plus our existing clients, focusing on Agricultural repairs.
We also carry out light vehicle servicing for existing clients. Recently, we have invested in our business to be able to offer dealer level capability to diagnose light vehicles, tractors and earthmoving machinery with up to date diagnostics laptops.
We are currently agents for Knuckey engineering, looking after pick up fronts and tramline renovators throughout the whole state. We are also agents for CNE Ag, where we offer dealer level support for all Hardi products, JCB and Bogballe. Additionally we are the authorised service agents for Blue Diamond Machinery, comprising of warranty and service work on a wide range of generators.
Starting next year, we will publicly launch our subsidiary business, Specialised Rebuild Services Australia. We are currently carrying out work under this business for current clients. SRSA will be mostly workshop based work, specialising in rebuilding John Deere®? powertrain and driveline components to a reman standard, as well as doing Hydraulic cylinder rebuilds, ranging from re seals, new rods, new barrels, new pistons and glands via our inhouse fitter-machinist.
We are prepared to assist with transition into this role, and will encourage employees to gain extra training where possible; such as air conditioning qualifications and a forklift driving qualification.
We work a standard 40 Hour week between Monday and Friday, overtime is optional. We are open to the option of 8/6 or 7/7 day shift only rosters as well. We are family focused, and extremely flexible on work hours and days. We will provide a work vehicle with toolboxes for work purposes and limited personal use. Ideally, we would like employees to reside within 30 minutes of Manjimup.
