Langtree Cafe, Mildura is looking for qualified cooks and chefs.
Duties/ responsibilities:
· Mise en place
- Cooking and preparing dishes
· Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
· Preparing and cooking food
- Planning and cooking for functions
You will need:
· Strong stock and cost control skills
· Minimum Two years post qualification experience
· Min Diploma in relevant field such as Culinary, Hospitality Management (including Commercial Cookery) and min 2 years work experience in relevant field
· Good time management
· Experience in cooking Modern Australian cuisine, Italian and Western cuisine
· Professional leadership
· Great communication skills
· Ability to work under pressure at a fast pace
· Restaurant chef experience is preferable
· Skills or experience required for the position.
Salary $ 70,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
