Job Responsibilities

Execute mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment and supervise the manufacturing process of vegetable oil products. Conduct the operation of the processing plant, design production layouts and new production lines, oversee the assembly and installation of new equipment, establish maintenance programs ensuring satisfactory manufacturing activities and a cost effective use of resources.

Job Description

This is a full time, permanent position within a rotating shift roster with a salary of $75,000pa.
Maintain workflow by monitoring and setting processing variables.
Inspect production process, observe critical control points and facilitate corrections to malfunctions within the process of control points to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
Monitor personnel, analysing workforce and resources utilization; initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between business units.
Design mechanical equipment, machines, components, product lines and plant flow, including the supervision during assembly, erection, commissioning and operation of refinery production lines.
Establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation.
Analysing the facility layout, performance and operational data according to the production schedules to determine optimum production results and to propose new equipment to improve efficiencies.
Developing specifications for process equipment and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, calculation of pump flow and efficiency as well as inline pressure loss and flow loss.
Organising project labour, material selection, delivery of materials, oversee the assembly and install equipment to fulfill process requirements.
Establishing standards for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
Inspecting plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained.
To work in conjunction with contractors to ensure that maintenance of plant building and equipment is coordinated according to the requirements for new designs, surveys and maintenance schedules.
Coordinate and execute maintenance of plant building and equipment by requesting special services, requirements for new designs, surveys following manufacturers instructions and established maintenance schedules.
Keep equipment operational by maintaining all mechanical issues and repair services; following manufacturers instructions and established procedures; requesting special services when required.
Prepare product reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends.
Develop specifications for manufacture and determining materials, equipment, piping, material flows, capacities and layout of plant and systems to ensure optimal operation of the process.
Create and revise systems and procedures by analysing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control and budgetary and personnel requirements.
Other tasks as may be occasionally required.
