What you will be Doing
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MPU ' s (Mobile Processing Unit) within the drill and blast department. This role will be based across multiple sites however your base will be in Moranbah. Camp will be provided for all rostered shifts.
Access, interpret and apply compliance documentation relevant to mix explosives using
MPU ' s;
Safely and efficiently load, operate and calibrate an MPU in adherence with; o Legislative & licensing requirements; o Safety, Emergency and Security Plans (relevant to the site of operation); o Safe Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Safe Work Instructions (SWI's); o Relevant Technical Data Sheets (TDS); o Approved bulk explosive loading plans; and o Directives by the licensed, nominated and authorised Shotfirer.
