Our Balaklava hay processing plant currently has multiple vacancies for fulltime Hay Plant Operators/Maintainers. Accommodation options for drive in drive out and permanent housing.
Plant Operators are hands on, running and maintaining the hay processing plant, housekeeping and participate in plant safety, quality and performance. They setup, operate, trouble shoot, service and maintain both fixed and mobile hay plant and equipment. Working in teams on rotating shift from 12 hour day shifts to 12 hour night shifts week about. Roles include telehandler operator, forklift driver, fixed plant operator maintainer.
No experience? We are still interested to hear from you - we provide a full training program.
The successful applicants will be:
- Committed to safety.
- Able to work both day and night rotating 12 hour shifts for up to 5 consecutive days.
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
Initial starting rate of $35 per hour with increases after probation and training completion.
