An IoT company based in the Dandenong region are seeking an experienced Surface Mount Technology Operator to join their engineering team. The role involves working with Yamaha pick-and-place machines, a stencil printer, a reflow oven, and a wave soldering unit. This is a full-time permanent position and requires you to be onsite in Melbourne. Key Requirements:
Industry experience working as an SMT operator
Experience with pick and place machines
Experience with paste printing machines
Experience with reflow ovens
Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems
Program and optimize SMT machines for production runs.
Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
Comfortable working in a engineering team environment
Good communication skills
Australian citizen, permanent resident or valid working rights in Australia
