The Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman (the Office) is looking for Legal Officers and Senior Legal Officers at the APS6 and EL1 level.
The Offices Legal Team provides in-house legal services to the Office. The team is the primary point of contact for staff who need legal assistance in undertaking their work, additionally, the team manages Freedom of Information requests, oversees the Offices privacy obligations, manages litigation on behalf of the Office and provides training on legal issues.
As a Legal Officer/Senior Legal Officer you will be an integral part of this team and contribute to the delivery of all aspects of legal services to the Office.
