Workforce Engine This role focuses on fabricating and repairing metal structures using structural steel and various metal stocks on construction sites. Benefits Annual salary : $75,000 plus super. Task & Responsibilities Analyse and understand technical drawings, plans, and requirements for each project. Select and prepare the appropriate metal materials for fabrication tasks. Accurately cut metal into desired shapes and sections using manual and mechanical cutting tools. Precisely align and arrange metal parts for assembly using specialised instruments and tools. Shape and bend metal sections and parts into the required form using hand and machine tools. Ensure the metal does not come into contact with other components that can cause rust. Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee the final products meet or exceed industry benchmarks. Collaborate effectively with the team to complete projects promptly and safely. Maintain a tidy and systematic workspace. Strictly follow all health and safety guidelines. Qualification & Experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on experience. A valid Driver’s Licence and access to your own vehicle. Expertise in using power tools and standard fabrication machinery. Ability to mentor and guide apprentices in the trade.
