What you’ll do:
This casual role will work predominately at the newly refurbished Derwent Bridge Hotel. However, you may also work at Pumphouse Point when required. You'll provide exceptional service with a warm welcome. You’ll treat our guests and customers as individuals, offering tailored options and solutions with a resilient and can-do attitude. On a daily basis you will:
- Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages.
- Ensure accurate processing of dockets, including cashiering duties.
- Setup and reset restaurants and specific conference & function activities as required.
What you’ll bring:
- Food and beverage service experience with a passion for great food showcasing local produce
- Strong bar and cocktail making experience
- A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
- Genuine interest and knowledge of beverage products such as spirits, beer, and wine.
- A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests
- Barista skills
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
- Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
- Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
