Role and Responsibilities:
As a Cook at Afghan Charcoal Kebab House, your role will involve:
• Preparing and cooking a wide range of Indian, Pakistani, and Afghani dishes, including kebabs, tikkas, curries, biryani, and desserts.
• Following our carefully crafted menu and cooking dishes to order, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served.
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards and food hygiene regulations.
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to create new and exciting dishes that will delight our customers.
• Demonstrating excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods and maintain efficient food preparation.
Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Cook in a restaurant setting.
• Relevant trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
• Expertise in Indian, Pakistani, and Afghani cuisine is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Great teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with our kitchen staff.
