We are looking for an experienced Chef to work in our commercial kitchen in Perth. The position offered is full time position and the Chef will be required to work late evenings, weekends and public holiday. The annual salary will range from $75,000 to $80,000 and will be commensurate with experience and skill set.

We are currently looking for Indian chef with experience in curries, tandoor style cooking, and familiarity with Indian herbs and spices. Knowledge in south Indian cuisine is must.
• Prepare and cook complete authentic Indian curries, tandoori recipe, and other Indian cuisine especially south Indian cuisine
• Oversee kitchen operations and supervise employees where necessary
• Work with specialized cooking equipment, such as the Dosa plate (Griddle), tandoor oven and deep fryer etc
• Create new recipes according to specific request of the customers and management
• Communicate effectively about the cooking procedures with other kitchen staff
• Work with minimal supervision whenever required
• Assist the owner in planning menus and requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Clean kitchen and work area, and perform related work as required
Requirements of the position
• Trade Qualifications in Commercial Cookery
• At least 3 years of work experience.
• Proficiency in all aspects of Cookery
• good communication skills
• able to work under pressure
• attention to detail
• able and willing to follow instructions
