My Gateway is teaming up with the NSW Government to employ trainees for the jobs program across the NSW public sector. We have a great opportunity with Prairiewood High School for a Horticulture Traineeship. Some of your duties include:
Maintaining the grounds as well as general maintenance of the school.
Mowing, edging, gardening and weeding and hedging
Washing of the bins
Pressure cleaning of concrete surfaces
Aerating mulch
Setting up the school for functions in the hall such as assemblies.
Daily jobs given by maintenance or administration staff.
As part of the 2 year traineeship, you will complete a nationally recognised qualification Certificate III in Horticulture while receiving quality on-the-job skills working with the head of Grounds and Maintenance.
