Our free-range meat bird facility located in Northam WA is currently seeking applicants for two full time Poultry Farm Manager’s roles to start immediately.
The successful applicant/s will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
· Daily Bird Checks
· Monitor Animal welfare and production quality
· Rotary hoeing
· Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment,
· General farm maintenance
· Ensuring biosecurity, health and safety, and animal welfare procedures are adhered to all times
· Managing staff to enhance farm performance
· Record keeping meeting standard obligations and compliance
To be considered for this role you must
· Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a poultry farm manager
· Tertiary qualification in poultry husbandry is preferred
· Machinery knowledge
· Be self-motivated
· Have a proven reliable work history.
· Flexibility with working hours to suit operational needs of the farm
· Have a current driver’s license and own reliable transport
Salary Package $70,000 - $73,500. Salary Package will reflect the applicants experience in the Poultry Industry and housing requirements.
