Keen Edge Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer.
Keen Edge Construction P/L specialises in FRP subcontracts in Road, Rail, Power and Water infrastructure Projects, along with Tier 1 Government and commercial Civil Projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Delivering works in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies/procedures;
• Client interface and engagement for work packages, including assessing the works scope, tendering, scheduling and project management;
• Assist with project variations and quality control
• Cost control, monitoring productivity and forecasting costs to complete;
• Develop Temporary Work Designs in co-ordination with our Formwork Suppliers on a Project by Project basis as required.
• Monitor and Coordinate Temporary Works onsite to ensure Formwork Systems are constructed as specified
• Develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Managing the delivery of works programmes
• Procure necessary resources for assigned projects
• Authorise engagement of subcontractors, management of subcontractor work to achieve outcomes, and all subcontract variations
• Ensure that HSE requirements and risk controls are considered in all construction planning and processes
What you need:
• Knowledge and experience with financial management, forecasting, procurement and contracts management functions;
• Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines;
• Manage own time with ability to look at new and improved ways of doing things
• Strong communication skills;
• A practical, hands on approach;
• A commitment to maintaining a safe workplace;
Skills and Qualifications:
• Qualification at the level of a Bachelor Degree or higher
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role
