We are currently seeking a dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our skilled team, continuing our tradition of excellence in customer service and vehicle maintenance.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Dismantle and remove engine assemblies and other components.
- Repair and replace worn and defective parts.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Reassemble engines and parts after repair.
- Test and adjust mechanical parts for proper performance.
- Diagnose and test parts with computers.
- Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates.
- Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls.
- Service and repair braking systems.
- Service and repair cooling systems.
- Repair, remove, and replace transmissions.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role:
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology from an Australian authority.
- Minimum of 2 years of local Australian experience as a Motor Mechanic.
- Experience with setting car Bluetooth and navigation systems is advantageous.
- Ability to diagnose and repair automotive electrical and mechanical issues.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
