Position: Formwork Carpenter
Employment: Full-time
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Premier Constructions Australia is one of Australia's leading service providers specialised in steel fixing, formwork, concrete, and labour, equipment & fleet hire.
Working on a major project in Adelaide's Inner South, we are currently seeking:
• Full-time Formwork Carpenter
• 3 months’ probation period. The job has the potential to become full-time employment for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Use building blueprints and diagrams to determine a form structure's proper dimensions, shape, and design.
• Construct the molds that hold wet concrete in foundations and other concrete structures;
• Carry heavy forms, and spray them with oil to keep the concrete from sticking;
• Strip the forms, clean them, and prepare them for the next project once concrete sets;
• Erect framework and roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards, and verify the trueness of structures.
Successful applicants will need to demonstrate the following:
• Carpentry: 3 years’ experience (required) framing: 3 years (required)
• A minimum of Cert III or Equivalent Qualification
• White card
• Proof of rights to work in Australia
• PPE (long sleeve, long pants, hard hat, hi vis & steel cap boots)
• You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen before commencing employment
