About the Role
The Welfare Worker will work both independently and within a team environment in order to assist individuals, families and groups who may be engaging with financial, social or emotional difficulties. The Welfare Worker assist with the improvement of quality of life by educating and supporting individuals, families or groups in need.
About You
The ideal candidate would possess strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate a high level of quality care for individuals and an ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality.
Essential Criteria
• At least 12 months full time (or part-time equivalent) employment in a relevant role at the required skill level.
• Completed a qualification in Human Welfare with a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Community Services (CHC42015)
• High level of proficiency in English.
• Ability to handle challenging and complex situations.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
Desirable Criteria
• Recent experience in the Australian Health Care System
• Willing to relocate if needed or provide flexibility
