As the Head of Telehealth - Nursing, you will manage the performance and efficiency of our nursing telehealth department, ensuring seamless execution of our business strategy within a clinical framework. You'll implement best practices in workflow management, team structure, and technical solutions to create scalable and efficient operations. Collaborate with the Medical Director ensuring that the desired clinical and medical practices are established and maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the clinic and department, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Implement practices to optimize nursing operations, including workflows, technology enablement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Collaborate with other teams for accurate forecasting, budgeting, and rostering to ensure excellent service delivery within a scalable and managed commercial model.
- Lead and support a high-performing team by providing clear leadership, direction, and support, ensuring employees have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
- Manage performance through timely feedback, formal evaluations, and by offering mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training programs to build and maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Ensure compliance with clinical practice guidelines, regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies as established by the Medical Director.
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction, continually improving service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of care.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the nursing department and with other departments to ensure cohesive operations.
