The Software Developer will be responsible for working under direction as a member of a team responsible for developing complex programs, integrating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software; documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment. Major Responsibilities
develop complex programs using a variety of software languages (e.g. Python) and development environments to achieve a well engineered result.
deliver scripting using a variety of languages (e.g. JavaScript) and secondary skills (e.g. SQL)
develop software that provides high quality User Experience outcomes
adhere to software engineering processes and contribute to software engineering process improvement
assist with planning and prioritisation activities and tasks, applying technical expertise and advice on aspects of system development and integration.
