We are currently looking for an experienced Telecommunications Technical Officer to assist with our telecommunications systems.
An experienced Telecommunications Technical Officer is someone who has a minimum of 3 years within the Telecommunications industry.
The successful candidate will be assessed on the following criteria:
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities – including SWMS, MOP’s, JSA’s
• Experience reading, interpreting, and providing advice on design drawings.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in running a rigging crew, including daily tasks, scheduling, OH&S, reporting, risk management, solution focused, risk mitigation and team dynamics.
• Experience with problem solving design and build issues.
• Experience in the use of testing equipment such as site masters, PIM testers, RET testers & Fibre testing.
• Effective site safety awareness
• Leadership, supervisory and motivational skills
• Interpersonal and good communication skills
• Decision-making and analytical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team.
• Responsible, calm and able to plan, delegate and prioritize work and other daily activities
• Ability to plan ahead effectively to foresee potential issues
Salary range: $88,000 to $100,000
