• Provide direct care assistance to each individual in accordance with their service plan.
• Work in accordance with the medication administration policy, work health and safety procedures.
• Support individuals to participate in age-appropriate activities and tasks including employment, in home support and community access.
• Support individuals to access activities and outings in the community.
• Implement training and support services aimed at maximising the living, employment, social and recreational skills.
• Promote community inclusion, independence, decision making and personal choice of the individuals.

• Reliable character
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals, their
families, community organisations and other professionals
• Ability to work in a very busy environment and to work both independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues
• Valid WA driver’s License
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid certificate
• Working with Children Check
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
• Certificate III or higher in Disability or other relevant qualification
• Experience in the delivery of personal care services and/or behaviours that challenge is viewed favourably
