Randstad is looking for an Area Manager for the Sunshine Coast!
This dynamic and crucial role with our client is designed to ensure the delivery of exceptional care services, uphold core values, and provide strong support for clients. As the Area Manager, you will directly manage a team of field staff who provide vital care services in client's homes. Your leadership will guide and supervise team members, ensuring they meet all training, skills, and registration requirements while delivering the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Directly manage and supervise a team of field staff, including recruitment, training, and induction of support workers and nurses.
Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure field staff are informed, connected, and equipped with up-to-date skills and registrations.
Lead efforts to enhance client service delivery and maintain excellent client and family relationships.
Monitor staff performance, including skill validation, leave management, and yearly appraisals to recognize achievements and areas for development.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, handle client feedback, and resolve complaints.
Foster a positive and unified work environment that reflects our client's commitment to exceptional aged care services.
Maintaining confidentiality in all dealings with clients and stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
Proven leadership experience managing remote and large teams in the aged care or healthcare sector.
Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, and the ability to inspire and develop team culture.
Experience in building strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of aged care quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion and commitment to Aged Care and the desire to 'make a difference'.
Current National Police Clearance
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR certificate.
