About the Role of Information Technology Manager:
Working closely with and reporting to the Director of Information Technology, Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is seeking an Information Technology Manager with a passion for excellence and great enthusiasm in providing exceptional service standards. The Information Technology Manager responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems and data and voice communications activities. They are responsible for providing systems support to all hotel departments both in offices and within the outlets. They provide systems support to hotel and function room guests who may require assistance with internet or computer issues and be able to resolve any glitches that may occur.
What you will do:
- Provide a high level of IT support services to guests and staff, ensuring critical system uptime and availability 24/7
- Establish and maintain user procedures and hardware familiarization for all systems
- Provide Systems Administration, including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble-shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation
- Provide system support services, including service outage diagnosis, troubleshooting and restoration of service, virus protection management
- Provide administration services, to include contribution to technology capital and operating budgets
- Participate in property-level, corporate-initiated technology implementations
- Assist at network support and security of Hotel network, Active Directory maintenance, Server Infrastructure maintenance, Network Infrastructure maintenance – wired & wireless, Network protection and failover tools implementation (Firewall, web security, multi-homing devices, etc.)
- Maintain and promote Four Seasons core technology standards as outlined in the Four Seasons IT core standards
- Recommend new applications to streamline business processes
- Implement technology "best practices"
What you will bring:
- At least 2 years previous experience in an IT leadership role, preferably within a hotel environment
- Knowledge of Networking and Security of Hotel network, Active Directory maintenance, Server and Network Infrastructure maintenance - wired and wireless, Network protection and failover tools implementation (Firewall, web security, multi-homing devices etc)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines whilst handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Solid communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to forge strong working connections with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Sound project management skills
