Facility Technician

We?re seeking a skilled Facility Technician to join our team and contribute to the efficient operation of our mineral processing facilities at the Weir Technical Centre in Clayton, Victoria.
This role is ideal for someone with mechanical skills such as basic fabrication, usage of hand and power tools and fitting skills for basic equipment maintenance, that is also interested in expanding their skill set.
You will perform routine testing, analysis and maintenance activities on Weir equipment and pilot plant test rigs for processing of mineral slurries. Equipment includes but is not limited to hydrocyclones, slurry pumps, slurry pipelines, mixers, thickeners, decanter centrifuges, filter press and other equipment.
