Your new role

This role is a part of a newly formed team dedicated to student administration and experience, focusing predominantly on the planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of strategies used by the organisation to engage all students from enrolment through to graduation. Additionally, leading the day-to-day operations of student engagement, this role will include the coordination of activities to ensure that all students feel supported within their learning environment.

This role focuses on the delivery and implementation of new strategies and the review of current ones, focusing on their effectiveness and the engagement of the wider student population. Working across Sydney and Melbourne, this role will include liaising with the executive leadership team to understand the needs of the organisation, and creating reports based on the number and the risks involved.

With a particular focus on enrolment, this role is created to ensure that the enrolment process is as seamless as possible whilst making sure that all necessary records are kept correctly and with a high level of data integrity. Including 6 direct reports in a fast-growing team, this role includes lots of people management as well as stakeholder engagement at all levels. With a strong focus on growth, this role has a strong focus on managing and developing staff and working collaboratively to create solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

You are an experienced team leader, preferably with experience working in the Higher Education or University field and favourably with a qualification in any area relevant to the role.

Experience in management of a growing team
Strong reporting skills and ability to create reports from data
Knowledge regarding the student life cycle within the tertiary sector is highly desirable if the experience extends to international students.
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels
A bachelor's degree in any relevant area


What you'll get in return

This is an opportunity to work with a large scale private educational institute renowned for its student-centric approach to education. You will be able to further build on your management skills while working towards achieving institutional goals. In addition, you will be offered a 2-year fixed term contract where you will be remunerated at $95,000 - $105,000 + Super. The ability to work in a supportive and encouraging team where you would be expected to work 5 days on-site.
