An experienced Assistant Director in Performance and Culture is being sought to manage a broad range of primary processes at the highest levels. Based in central Canberra in a well-established precinct, this national agency is dedicated to shaping the nation's future through democratic processes. You will ensure efficient conduct of members to support international and regional relations. Your new role You'll be redefining best HR practice in a critical agency with the mentorship of the Director. Day to day will see you:
Providing advice and managing human resource functions including workplace relations, workforce planning, learning and development and organisational culture.
Project and research work to develop policies and procedures related to people matters.
Supporting change management involved in HR policies and adopting best practice industry standards.
Encourage the continuous development of staff.
Represent the department at official network events, working groups and forums.
What you'll need to succeed
Baseline security clearance, or ability to obtain
Australian citizenship
Tertiary qualifications in a related disciple or equivalent experience highly desirable
