The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our next-generation caravans. Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs and specifications for new caravan models, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and customer requirements.
2. Product Innovation: Collaborate with the design and production teams to develop innovative features and improvements for our caravans.
3. Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing and validation of mechanical components and systems to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.
4. Project Management: Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
5. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
6. Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the production team during the manufacturing process.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of our manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the automotive or caravan manufacturing industry.
3. Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems and materials.
4. Work Rights: Must have full working rights in Australia.
5. Attributes: Innovative thinker, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a collaborative team environment.
