We are currently looking for a skilled painter to join our team on a full-time basis.
About you
The successful candidate will play a part in a team of hardworking professionals. This is a dynamic and varied role, and you will be expected to deliver high quality service to a varied range of clients.
The duties you will perform include:
· Prepare walls and other surfaces through sanding, taping off outlets, repairing cracks, etc.
· Mix and apply paint, varnishes, and necessary solvents.
· Use a variety of tools to achieve the desired finish of painted surface.
· Set up and take down additional equipment as needed.
· Maintain all tolls and equipment.
· Perform final inspection to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
· Adhere to workplace safety rules and regulations.
Position requirements
· Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent work experience
· Minimum 2 years of work experience (5+ years highly preferred)
· Attention to detail and focus on finishing tasks to a high standard
· Ability to liaise and build upon relationship with clients
· Organisational skills and cleanliness
· Punctual and reliable
· Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
