The incoming OHS Coordinator will join a collaborative team of 7 OHS professionals and report into the OHS Team Manager. This position requires an individual who is committed to promoting safety and has a thorough, demonstrated understanding of Australian safety legislation. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering end to end safety in a strategic based role.
Responsibilities
You will advise, assist and support other staff, Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) and members in relation to occupational health and safety matters including occupational violence & aggression matters, workers compensation, return to work and fitness for work.
You will assist with developing and implementing policy and programs in a team environment to proactively prevent and manage occupational injuries and illnesses
