On behalf of our client we’re looking for a full-time experienced Restaurant/Venue Manager
The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operation as well as delivering and maintaining high production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
The daily duties and responsibilities include:
• Coordinate daily Front and Back of House restaurant operations
• Organise and supervise staffs’ roster
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
• Provide detailed weekly, monthly and annual reports on revenues and expenses
• Regular coaching, training and mentoring of staff to improve them and services standards
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
• Liaise with bookkeeper and accountant, data entry via MYOB, prepare invoices
• Creating and implementing new ideas
Education – At least a Diploma in administration or hospitality desirable. Industry experience may substitute where the candidate has no less than 3 years of full-time experience.
Experience & Skills
• 2+ years of Industry experience as a Restaurant/ Venue Manager
• Proven customer service experience as a manager
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software
• Acute financial management skills
Salary: Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a range between $75,000 and $80,000
